Single and Waiting?

Single women: Settling for someone to take the sting out of singleness is easy but waiting for God's best takes courage, patience and a profound relationship with Him. Do you agree?

The Waiting Room is a 31-day devotional that uses the perfect blend of spiritual and practical disciplines to lead single women to develop a close relationship with God and to live a purposeful life.

What does having a deep relationship with God have to do with waiting for the right husband? Everything. Without God in our lives it's difficult to live a purposeful and successful life. Let's face the truth. Whether we're single or married, our lives should be built on God.

God shows us how to live purposefully and therefore, successfully, according to His plan for our lives. As we get closer to God, He teaches us how to protect our hearts by giving us discernment, a key tool none of us should live without.

Discernment, is one of the spiritual disciplines mentioned in The Waiting Room, a 31-day Devotional for Single Women Waiting for the Right Husband. It helps us to recognize and eliminate wolves in sheep clothing. It aids us in decision making and redirects our footsteps from danger. Some refer to this as a sixth sense. But those of us who know God, understand that He gives us a divine sense of knowing that keeps us safe under His wings.

So in the meantime, while waiting for the right person to enter your life, how about cultivating the most important relationship you will ever have -- your relationship with God?
